Who to Call for a Sewer Backup
For a backup inside the home, stop water use and request a plumbing evaluation. Sewage cleanup may require a separate restoration provider. A public-side problem, rental, condo, or shared line can also require utility or property-management coordination.
Stop adding water to the drainage system
Avoid flushing toilets, running faucets, using appliances, or taking showers when those actions worsen the backup. Keep people and pets away from wastewater.
