1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ATL Plumber Connect collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit atlplumberconnect.com, submit a plumbing connection request, interact with a call-to-action, or otherwise use the Site.
ATL Plumber Connect is a referral and connection service. Independent plumbing professionals are separate businesses and may maintain their own privacy practices after your information is shared with them.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Site.
- Contact information, such as your name and telephone number.
- Service-request information, such as city, ZIP code, service category, urgency, property or plumbing details, and the description you submit.
- Consent and transaction records, including the date and time of a request, lead ID, routing result, and records showing the language presented when you submitted information.
- Attribution and technical information, such as landing page, referring page, UTM parameters, browser or device information, IP-derived information, and basic server logs.
- Analytics and interaction information, such as page views, form starts, form submissions, button clicks, and call-link interactions.
- Call metadata when a call-tracking service is used, which may include call time, duration, answer status, routing destination, and qualification information. Call recording is not enabled by ATL Plumber Connect by default.
3. How we use information
We may use information for the following business and operational purposes:
- To receive, evaluate, route, and facilitate plumbing connection requests.
- To allow an independent provider to contact you about the service request you submitted.
- To operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and routing systems.
- To measure traffic, marketing attribution, conversion performance, and provider performance.
- To detect spam, fraud, abuse, duplicate requests, security incidents, and other misuse.
- To maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Use, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How and why we share information
When you ask to be connected with a plumber, we may disclose the information needed to respond to your request to one or more independent plumbing or home-service providers that appear to match the requested service and geographic area.
ATL Plumber Connect may receive compensation from a provider or other business partner for a lead, referral, connection, qualified call, completed service, or other agreed result. Depending on the law that applies to you, disclosure of lead information in connection with compensation may be treated as a sale, sharing, or other regulated disclosure even though ATL Plumber Connect does not sell a general-purpose list of consumer data.
We may also disclose information to vendors that help us host the Site, route leads, provide analytics, detect abuse, send communications, operate call tracking, or perform other services on our behalf; to professional advisers; in connection with a business transaction; or when required to protect rights, safety, property, users, providers, or comply with law.
5. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
The Site may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tags, and similar technologies to keep the Site functioning, understand traffic, measure marketing performance, and improve user experience. Third-party analytics or advertising providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
You can use browser controls to delete or block many cookies. Blocking technologies may affect some Site features. Where legally required, additional consent controls may be presented.
6. Communications and consent to be contacted
Submitting a plumbing request authorizes ATL Plumber Connect and the independent provider or providers to whom the request is routed to contact you about that specific request using the contact information you provided, including by telephone or text where permitted. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchasing plumbing services from a provider.
Message and data rates may apply. You can tell a provider to stop contacting you, subject to communications that are legally permitted or necessary to complete an existing transaction or request.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including routing and attribution, fraud prevention, accounting, provider reconciliation, dispute handling, security, legal compliance, and enforcement. Retention periods may differ by data type and may be shortened or extended when appropriate.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission, hosting provider, database, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or opt out of certain uses or disclosures. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information when an exception applies.
If applicable law treats compensated lead sharing as a sale or sharing of personal information, you may also have a right to opt out. You can submit a privacy request using a contact method published on the Site. We will process valid requests as required by applicable law.
10. Children
The Site is intended for adults seeking household plumbing services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was submitted, we may delete it as appropriate.
11. Third-party sites and providers
The Site may link to or connect you with third-party providers, websites, phone systems, or services. ATL Plumber Connect does not control the privacy, security, or data practices of independent third parties. Review their policies and terms before providing additional information directly to them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Site, vendors, routing practices, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the Site when appropriate.
13. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the contact method made available on ATL Plumber Connect. Please include enough information for us to identify the request and respond, but do not send passwords, financial account information, Social Security numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
